It was our first wrench show in a year. We got there early and had some burritos, i caved and finnaly bought rollie ciggarettes, it was 2.50 for 40!!!! verses 7.50 for 20.
Kev and steve went and got a freshly brewed beer at this pub.
We went back to the show and had our first promo shots taken ever.
Im not sure how they will turn out if they turn out bad its probably our fault. haha whatever, im sure they will be awsome.

We played sort of a joke set...two songs 25 minutes we brought 2 drumsets and all. I broke a string first note, which didnt really matter, we played our first song very nicely, and then went into our new song boneglow wich for this show we modifyed at the end i looped my bass part and jumped on the 2nd drumset and just did a steady beat, id give you the time signature or whatever but i dont know about that stuff. either way by the end of the set i broght my drumset up to the balcony and played there, then we ended and for some reason everyone liked it hahahaha nah it was awsome. Total punck and all that silly shit.
next show in febuary 7th with japanther at the oasis!!!!!

Im going to start trying to build a modular synth for my pedal board ive wanted a small one for awhile but i have to get a new bass first.

So we had a blizzard like a week ago and i booked myself on to a show doping solo noise synth stuff, the roads were terrible but it was still fun.

So when i got out of work on friday i fell asleep untill about 2 pm, if any of you know me i never do this but it was for the sake of the nyc show.

We got together, and ran through the new songs a few times then we packed up and went on our way.

The we didnt take cabs or my amp so we could all get there in one car.

We played first... I was pretty aprihensive that anyone would be there. But before the show even started there was a line out the door. Weird!!!!!!
When we first started there were about 10 people in the room no joke, by the end there was 100+.We played on stage and actually had a good soundcheck so it was weird. The set went well except for kev broke a sring and a tuner off so that kinda sucked but whatever. I got bored tword the end of the set and jumped of the stage and played down there, i ended with puting my bass on some girl and ran back on stage to mess with my delay. hahahaha she didnt know wtf to do it was funny.
I have no photos of any bands because for some reason it didnt work untill after the show. I took advantage of the drink tickets, neptune was amazing and so were oneida, sightings ------ na.

So i went to the sweatshop with joe and the rest of anniseete, i met them at the 20 and we went on our way. I suck at driving in providence especialy when its raining and at night. The location is awsome but sketcy as fuck to most people.

Strangely enonough when i got there i knew like half the people there it was kind of weird.

So last friday was awsome, im just getting to it now because my computer broke but here we go.

Annisette and banner fish was playing at elcletic so i went down early to scope shit out. First i went to the bean to get esspreso and sandwich thing. I then left and ran into this girl i remembered from ladykilla shows, we talked for a bit but i had to go. I then ran into liz and i messed around with her for a bit.

we decided that we were cold so we went to lizes to watch cold case.

we got to her house wich was nice as hell and then her and cortney wrestled.

they had to go and so did i so we walked back.

i then got to the show and to my surprize there were about 35 people there.

Ill do my best to remember everything, some of it is hazy.

We woke early but left later than we intended.

It didnt help we got stuck in mad fuckin traffic.

after everything was loaded in i made my self some tinsel juice and got my self wet, kev got soaked.

After and while we all grew more fun... laruen played.

Then it was our turn to play.
From the get go we knew this was going to be awsome.
As soon as i soundchecked my bass he told me my bass had to come down, so natrualy i told him no, i then walked away and changed. He kept trying to get us to turn down but i didnt lisen first chord kev broke a string. hahaha so bassically we fucked shit up as crazy as we could.

As i expected there was a line all the way to dunkin when we got there, we met up with our freinds mid line so that was good.
It wasnt long before we were in and walkin around.
First band was a girl playing harcore by herself,
second band was a lo fi noise band but they were boring as hell.
While they were playing i walked out side and met up with stephine from tinsel teeth, we were both glad we found someone we knew. We talk for awhile about doing a tour and if everything goes to plan we will do one with them in the summer.

Usa is a monster... Was really good from what i9 heard, i got my place next to chipindale drumset.

lightning bolt. First off there is no way i can explain this show. It had to have been experianced.

They played for nearly an hour mostly because the crowd was just too unruly, it was down right fucking dangerous, preople were trampled but there was always a good effort to pick people up. For the first few songs i was trapped right in his bass drum, i teamed up with some girl we were trying to stay in front but it was so crazy. Gibsons pedals must have come undone 10 times during the set, i helped him one but was catapulted back into the crowd. At times whole sides of the room would callapse, one would trip then 200 would fall on him. This happened to me, i triped and nearly 30 people fell on top of me, i thought i was too die. But i found it really peacefull down there, as i layed on the floor i looked up to see the pulsating darkness that was 400 people lower halfes, there feet in place swaying to the thunder that i heard.

So friday i dont really remember what i did during the day, but later in the night i remembered it was the liz larsons cd release show, wich also had eula playing too. It being at the oasis i was a bit skeptical about getting in but i went anyways.
I only live like 10 minutes away so it wasnt a big deal... I got there and quickly found liz. aparently if you know the right people age doesnt really mean anything. So i got in and saw eula, they did really good and liz larsons were really good, i had never seen them and it really was sweet.
I forgot my camera in the car so no pictures.
When i finnaly got out of there it was like 1:30 wich caught me by surprise. yeah home.

saturday was sweet, kevin sold his 73 sg and bought a shit ton of pedals.
Including but not limmited too, another delay, fat boost, mxr phase 90, a q tron + and a frequency analyser, also a tremelo, and a new big ass pedal board too put them all on...expect to hear some weird shit from now on.

sunday was my lazy day layed in bed with my lezbian freinds watching movies about masacists.

October is my favorite month, you can hear the earth screaming its last screams of plant life. All of the trees die in such a beutifull way, i get jealous of them cause i know mine will be messy. Soon i will also have a full stack, i recently got a gk 4x10. And ive had a peavey 1x 15, i recently modifyed the 1x15 to lose some wieght. It weighted close to a hundred pounds. I cut the port hole off, which lost like 40 pounds, this will probably affect the tone but who cares. Both of my cabs are rated at 400 watts so once i get a head, its gonna be fuck loud.

Im just gonna skip to the show. it was a slow morning.

So we get to the show, and we load all of our stuff into a laundry room of all places that was behind the stage.
There were jokes passed around how, we had a laundry room and the main stage had a full buffet, which they did.

Anyways, first was great scott. Now i really dont care for ska in the first place, but they performed a rather cookie cutter set, fully of gentle swaying from the whole band. My girlfreind and i both agread the best part of the band was watching parts of the singer move.

Next was the thick thieves

I love these guys, they are great, theyre tone is great, im so glad ive become freinds with them all.
They played a great set allthough they are modest as hell so, try gettting them to say that.

Then i wandered around for awhile, i bought a hotdog, steve bought a blinding yellow shirt.

Then eula played

They played good, i wish she played more slide though, it reminds me of teenage jeasus. Anyways they were deffinatly on, i think they held back a bit cause they had another show that day also.

As soon as they stoped we started to set up, we were granted permision to play on the ground wich was nice, so we set up blah blah blah. We turned around and realized there was a shit ton of people waiting for us, this was sweet.
In all of the excitment we forgot that we had to wait untill someone told us we could play. We heard the band on the main stage stop ( at least we though and we played our first song) Aparently they werent done. So we stopped waited till they were done and played our set, alot of people danced alot of people watched, not many left!!!! whats more to ask for. Our set went really well, especially because it was mikes first show with us. At the end of the set i tryed to get my bass stuck on a pole and aparently some town guy was yelling at me. I somehow brought on a plauge of weird flys to the festival, if you were there and you saw those stupid little flys.......that was my fault.

Onieda was fucking awsome, i loved them, and aparently they loved us too, they invited us to play at the knitting factory in december!!! woot woot.

The rest of the fest untill around 9 when i left was full of taking care of my drunk freinds and planning three sums ( dont ask). I left at 9 to bring felicia home, got back around 10 30 ish at the G, that show was a bust for anyone who was under 21. Fuck that place, seriously in their ass. There was a fight outside, another one of my drunk freinds got arrested and got taken to jail. Then someone crashed into a car outside, and drove off.
Hung out with the drunk version of manic mark, hes hillarious, i left around 2:30. It was a good night, and a good show.
